**Financial Manager (permanent position) - W/M**

**MISSION**

Under the responsibility of the Finance Director Group, you are in charge of:

- Develop the company's budget and plan in accordance with the strategic choices of the EXEL Industries Group, the shareholder and the general management. Work on the quarterly revisions of this budget as part of the Group Forecast exercise.
- Produce the financial statements intended for the financial management of the Exel Industries Group, the legal authorities, the Management Committees of the Retail Group and the company HOZELOCK-EXEL.
- Be the communication relay on these financial statements: prepare the monthly and quarterly results, analyze the deviations from the budget and the previous year. Design and write reviews of business results. Prepare presentations to the board of directors or for the banking pool.
- Challenge and support the company's operational services in the analysis and optimization of the activity's key performance indicators (commercial services such as supply chain).
- Frame the management of the company's trade receivables, in conjunction with the sales department by best adapting to the complexity inherent in the specificities of Retail: numerous deductions, management of the back margin and disputes
- Validate the accounting statements and the main closing choices, validate the tax choices with the auditors and the Group's tax specialist
- Analyze, with the treasurer, the cash monitoring and the discrepancies observed in relation to the forecasts.
- Set up and improve procedures for managing and optimizing the flow of financial information and guaranteeing their reliability.
- Manage the following partners: investment manager, banks, credit insurance, optimizing their efficiency and cost for the company

**Management Role**
- Manage a team of 4 accountants and 1 industrial controller
- Be part of the local management team
- Reports into Finance Director in France

**PROFIL**
- Your english is fluent (the french is a plus)
- Minimum of 7 years' experience working in the finance function
- SAP/ SAP BI systems experience advantageous
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree / MBA in Accounting & Finance.
