In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. **Job Summary**: We are seeking an Animal Caretaker for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Bern ( Switzerland). You’ll work in a facility with rodents on a research platform in interaction with researchers. **Essential duties**: - Professional animla care, breeding, monitoring and daily observations of animal health - Housing new arivals - Recording of animla and facility data in the EDV system - Specific services (i.eN taking skin biopsies for genotyping, apllications...) - Cleaning of materials, equipmnt and animla areas - Monitoring enviromental conditions in the vivarium ( temperature, humidity, light cyle) - Operating cage washer, autoclave, dump and animla transfer stations - Assistance in the maintenance of equipment and n the receiving and storage of goods - perform other related duties as directed - Animal care service o weekends and public holidays on regular basis **Requirements**: - Certification in Animal Care ( Eidg. Fahigkeitszeugnis "Tiperpfleger/in EFZ, ALAT certification ) or equivalent job-related animal care training and experience - Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedure ( SOPs) and Quality Assurance Standards - Ability to lift equipment and extended standing - A sense of responsbility towards the animal entruded, reliability and an exact working method - You are flexible and enjoy working ina team - Either good english or German language skills, good PC skills. **About Insourcing Solutions** Charles River Insourcing Solutions℠ can streamline research by delivering operational and cost efficiencies through the strategic insourcing of GMP, GLP and non-GLP research services from discovery through safety assessment.
