The Energy Solutions Product Manager role will drive the creation of new products that offer Planet Smart City residents and customers greater visibility and insights over their energy use and carbon footprint. As the home becomes increasingly connected to our digital lives, our mission is to increase awareness and drive behavioural change around energy consumption through the use of IoT, AI and gamification. We are looking for an experienced product professional with a proven track record of delivering integrated hardware and software solutions, from concept, through validation, to production. Experience in Energy and IoT sectors are a plus.
**Responsabilities**
Engage with end users, other product owners, and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and support solutions that transform energy consumption awareness of residents
Work with Engineering teams within the Agile methodology, facilitate planning, assist with execution of sprints, and lead backlog refinement and prioritization. Plan product launches, collaborate with stakeholders on marketing activities, documentation, support requests and sales enablement
Create detailed product specifications including business plan, customer journeys, and use cases. Own and communicate the product roadmap
Understand local regulations to maximize the value of the product
Measure product performance using appropriate tools and techniques and manage risks within and across teams
Drive the product lifecycle process and work within the product management organization to document the work, track progress and report results
Coordinate internal and external resources for the execution of projects
**Experience & SkillsEssential**
3+ years of experience in product management
Fluency in written and spoken English, as well as being able to communicate technical requirements
Strong business acumen and ability to formulate sound business plans
Strong writing skills, to create requirements, reports, and specifications from scratch
Strong sense of personal responsibility regarding decision making and collaboration with work teams
Results orientation and propensity to put your skin in the game
Ability to anticipate challenges and try to proactively avoid obstacles
Knowledge of software architectures and development of high security, scalable and robust systems
Strongly motivated, results-oriented, curious, and open attitude
**Preferable**
Past experience with IoT solutions: sensor networks, building automation, remote monitoring solutions, BacNet/M-Bus/ModBus technologies
Past experience in energy or utilities sector: energy measurement/management, renewable energy communities, residential HVAC/electrical/water systems
