We are looking for a** Legal Counsel**, committed to **the Italian Market**, to be hired with a permanent contract in **Milan** within the **Legal Team**.

**Your Challenge**

As **Legal Counsel **your mission will be to support of all legal aspects of the company and its business. You will be part of the local Legal team and will report to the Country General Counsel.

Some of your main activities will be:

- Effectively advising internal business clients on a variety of legal issues
- Drafting and negotiating different types of contracts
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of Italian legal developments
- Conducting training on legal topics
- Supporting the digitalization of the legal department
- Communicating effectively with management, employees, Headquarters, customers and public authorities
- Closely cooperating with Legal and Compliance colleagues of other Siemens entities

**To be a perfect fit for this role, you must have**:

- Significant work experience in a similar position, preferably in the Legal & Compliance department of a multinational company or in an international law firm
- Excellent legal knowledge and experience in Italian and EU law, with focus on commercial and competition law. Knowledge of privacy law and Italian employment law is a plus
- Full proficiency in English and Italian
- Admitted to practice in Italy
- Excellent judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication & influencing skills within all hierarchical levels and in a complex matrix organization
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Passion for technology and ability to adopt and implement digital tools and solutions
- Passion to never-stop growing
- Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- Eligibility to work in Italy
