**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for customs compliance strategy making and process establishment, promote company process to be line with customs compliances;
- Define tariff classification, broker master file and preferential origin calculation;
- Check of duty invoices;
- Organize to research and analyse import and export control, customs tariff and relevant preferential policy according to import export requirement, promote cost reduction in compliance with the law and regulations;
- Responsible for customs relationship building and custom clearance of company goods;
- Review import/export documents for accuracy and send to customs broker for filing;
- Be the focal point with customs brokers, lead the company responses to queries and audits, ensuring that the most cost-effective and compliant solutions are identified, provide advice to the business on the best course of action;
- Conduct monthly customs checks, identify customs risks and prevent and mitigate violations, implementing any corrective and preventative actions;
- Keep business informed of any material changes (Customs tariff, procedure or regulations) in customs legislation;
- Conduct employee training to heighten awareness of customs issues and changing legislation;
- Review and standardize Company's use of third-party service providers (e.g., customs brokers, logistics) for improved compliance and cost savings;
- Any other tasks determined by management.
**Profile**
- 5+ years of Customs experience in Textile/Accessories company;
- Experience completing customs clearence declarations;
- Excellent knowledge of export and import of goods i.e. HS Code and preferential origin rules etc.;
- Familiar with import and export control policy, custom clearance process, customs evaluation, customs tariff and country of origin standard bonded warehouse;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - especially Excel (ideally intermediate to advanced level).
- Detail orientated with excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently with mínimal supervision and exercise good judgement.
- Able to work cross-culture and build relationships as necessary, to recognise, support and focus on the few critical priorities at the right time;
- Ability to influence in a highly matrixed environment and across a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
- Fluent in English.
