VLS is a luxury travel agency and conciergerie based in the historic center of Venice and operating internationally. The clientele is predominantly American and the format is B2B, so the work will be mainly with travel agencies.

The position is offered to a Freelance Operations Associate to strengthen our Operations Department.

The Associate will work in direct contact with management and colleagues from the Reservations and Accounting departments.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Creating itineraries and trips for clients
- Complete travel arrangements, including for example tours organisation, guides, chauffeurs, etc.
- Ordering services from suppliers and following up
- Ticketing and shopping for commodities
- Managing reconfirmations prior to client arrival
- Assisting with customer communications
- Handling last minute changes
- Reporting to other departments
- Management of data
- Public Relations
- Reconfirmation and scheduling of events

**Required Skills**:

- Experience in the tourism industry
- Fluency in both Italian and English languages. The interview will be held in English, so all applicants who do not have advanced language skills will be immediately screened out
- Proficiency in Drive Suite (Sheets, Documents, Presentation, Calendar), Mac OS and Zoom. Knowledge of Axus is a plus

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience in a luxury market
- Knowledge of the Hebrew language

Please note that the following position requires a VAT number (Partita IVA). Applicants who do not have a VAT number will not be considered.

The position is 30-35 hours per week, including agreed upon shifts on some Saturdays and Sundays.
