Datalogic Group is looking for a SAP Controlling Business Analyst to join the Global Demand Management and ICT Applications Team within the Information and Communications Technology Department.
- This position will play a key role in supporting and improving the company internal financial and cost management processes at global level and will be based in the HQ in Lippo di Calderara (BO).
- ROLE MISSION
- The SAP Controlling Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and continuously optimizing business processes related to cost control, internal reporting, and financial forecasting, with a specific focus mainly on the SAP Controlling (CO) module and related tools across the Datalogic Group.
- This role is a strategic link between business and IT, ensuring that financial and controlling requirements are effectively translated into functional SAP configurations and digital solutions that support informed decision-making.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to financial control, cost tracking, and internal reporting.
- o Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability of cost and financial management processes.
- o Design solutions, configure and customize SAP CO and PS modules (Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, Internal Order Management, Standard Costs and Material Ledger Management, WBS, etc.) to align with business requirements.
- o Coordinate external consultant support to Project or important Change Request initiatives on Controlling Area.
- o Support the improvement of SAP CO and PS for regulatory compliance ensuring that the system meets all user and requirements.
- o Collaborate with Business Intelligence team in developing reports to support business decisions, providing analytical support in the areas of cost tracking, profitability analysis, and financial forecasting.
- o Participate in cross-functional projects, contributing on analyzing and explaining on SAP controlling domain to broader digital transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field._
- Fluent in English._
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in SAP CO and PS modules configuration, implementation, and support._
- Solid knowledge and understanding of financial processes and cost management.
- Familiarity with other SAP modules (FI, PP, MM, SD) and reporting tools like SAP BW, PowerBI, QlikView would be considered a plus.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong plus
