Located in the popular Navigli district, Aethos Milan is part boutique hotel, part soulful culinary destination. Our 32 refreshingly hip rooms and suites invite guests to experience Italy’s most vibrant city in a space as warm as a second home.

ZAÏA is a new experience for Milan, a restaurant that draws its influences from diversified Mediterranean cuisines. An addition to the city's expansive restaurant landscape rather than a new competitor. We take our guests on a journey, always friendly and never distant in all our F&B outlets. The Aethos' chefs bring international inspiration to classic Italian cooking and our mixologists take your tastebuds for a spin.

Aethos Milan is also home to the world-renowned Doping Bar, the perfect place to try a new and interesting cocktail and a private members club with a state-of-the-art gym, exclusive members dining and special events. We are also in the process of launching a new all day healthy dining experience.

**Overview**:
The Restaurant Supervisor at Aethos embodies our commitment to exceptional hospitality, overseeing operations that reflect our dedication to sustainability, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. With a keen eye for detail and a warm approach, the Supervisor ensures seamless dining experiences while supporting the team to achieve exceptional standards.

**Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**:

- ** Guest Engagement**: Extend a warm welcome, assist with menu selections, accurately take orders, and ensure prompt transmission to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages with precision and attention to presentation.
- **
Operational Support**: Aid in preparation for service, maintain impeccable restaurant settings and ensure that all areas maintain a high standard. Support mise-en-place preparation and adhere to cleaning routines to uphold hygiene standards.
- **
Collaboration and Team Support**: Work closely with the Maître and kitchen staff, fostering a cohesive environment to ensure the restaurant’s success.

**Core Competencies**:

- ** Language Proficiency**: Fluent in both English & Italian to effectively communicate with guests and the team.
- **
Experience and Hospitality Passion**: At least 3 years in hospitality, showcasing a passion for creating exceptional experiences. Natural hosting abilities and a genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.
- **
Adaptability and Decision-making**: Flexibility to manage a varied schedule, including extended hours and evening events. Capacity to make thoughtful decisions, provide constructive feedback, and address guest concerns effectively.
- **
Operational Excellence**: Ensure adherence to Aethos Hotel Standards for safe and efficient restaurant operations. Identify areas for improvement and contribute to implementing effective solutions while maintaining high productivity levels.

Genuine Warmth**: Maintain a warm, friendly demeanour at all times, embodying the genuine hospitality ethos of Aethos while upholding the highest standards.
