Job Overview

Within our approachable, friendly and team-based way of working, you will collaborate with the Team that advises on a full spectrum of financial products in the debt capital markets area, including investment grade and non-investment grade standalone issuances, Euro Medium Term Note and Euro Commercial Paper programmes, US bond issuances and programmes, regulatory capital issuances, hybrid securities issuances, sovereign debt, liability management and retail securities offers.

Moreover, our team frequently collaborates with other parts of the Global Financial Markets group on cross-practice transactions such as loan bond transactions, high yield issuances and structured products.

Our way of working is based on an international environment with a high level of collaboration and frequent contacts with other Clifford Chance offices around the world with the aim of guaranteeing the best possible service to our l clients.

Who you will work with

Our Debt Capital Markets Team is currently composed of two partners, one counsel and a number of associates qualified to practice in Italy, England & Wales and New York who act on many of the ground-breaking DCM deals in Italy and have become trusted advisers to the corporations and financial institutions that define the global markets.

Your career experience so far

You will ideally be an Italian qualified Associate (with up to 3 years post qualification experience) with substantial Debt Capital Markets experience in a top tier international law firm or a primary Italian law firm.

You will be a self-starter with a strong academic background, a team player with strong communication, analytical and drafting skills and a high level of commercial awareness, able to contribute to deals while managing different work-streams.

You will have good English language skills and be able to work comfortably in English, both in drafting legal documents and advice and in communicating with clients and counterparties.
