Aog Technician

Avincis is a global leader in the emergency aviation industry and it provides services in the field of HEMS, Firefighting, off-shore and MRO. For the Firefighting area, Avincis manages the Italian Canadair fleet composed of 18 planes, owned by the Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, and it counts on 3 operative bases. The Rotary Wing division instead has a fleet of more than 40 helicopters and 36 operative bases, mainly operating in Italian regions but also covering international operations.Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the AOG Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company fleet, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on helicopters in the company fleet at any location, at line stations and main bases and any other reasonable tasks assigned by the manager.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and avionic issues.
- Conduct inspections and repairs in accordance with aviation regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Cooperate with Technical Department and Planning to define an effective intervention plan to minimize AOGs and reduce planned maintenance downtimes.

**Requirements**:

- Valid CAT B1.3 on one or more of the following helicopter types: AW139, AW169, BK117 C2, BK117 D2-D3.
- Proven experience in helicopter maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of aviation safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in Italian.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Cat B2 and C are a plus
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Good level of the English language (B2)
