- Serves as job analyst, well support and job designer to Global/Region/NWA/Country customers.
- Develops and maintains personal relationship with the technical customer and may develop sales leads.
- Provides technical and operational expertise to customers in a professional manner.
- Works independently and may provide work direction to others.
- May serve in the lead field professional role in the delivery of our drilling services, such as coring and hole enlargement activities.
- This role assists in pre-planning, and post job analysis with the service coordinators and business segment managers.
- The role performs lead operations on specialized service operations.
- Participates in developmental programs to accelerate learning and to advance into further specialized services roles.
- Requires ability to interpret well site data. May act as mentor for junior professionals and peers.
- Typical requirements include a degree in Engineering relevant or at least 2 years of related bits or services field experience.
- Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is desirable.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
