Project Manager

Global execution of Sustaining Projects in the area of Cassettes and Tubing Systems with the goal of maintenance and optimization of existing products as well as the implementation of process improvements of global importance from change request to release for production.

To ensure that project for new developments and for optimizations of components and medical devices are correctly realized as per agreed scope, time and cost and in compliance with applicable regulations and in collaboration with R&D according current SOPs.

**Your assignments**:

- Worldwide execution of Sustaining Projects in the area of Cassettes and Tubing Systems with the goal of optimization and maintenance of existing products, as well as the implementation of process improvements of global importance.
- Project management of high, medium and low complexity Sustaining Projects based on defined design change process and supported by electronic system (e.g. Windchill).
- Development/optimization of components/finished products for the blood purification of patients suffering from chronic or acute kidney failure (hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, apheresis)
- Leads projects assigned to Sustaining Center across all phases of planning, implementation, and production readiness and release (Concept development, Requirements definition, Design Verification and Validation, Design Transfer, project release and implementation).
- Set-up and leads cross-functional teams (GRD, Industrialization, Manufacturing, technology, purchasing, regulatory affairs, etc.) for the global implementation of the individual project tasks.
- Organizes Change Detailed Impact Assessment sessions with key stakeholders. Creates, optimizes, and drives structured schedules and project plans. Sets and meets project milestones and deadlines effectively keeping plans on schedule.
- Monitors project progress based on coordinated project plans and reports within the Sustaining Center and to other project stakeholders.
- Definition and update of the requirements and input of projects in collaboration with GRD
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
- Collaborates across all the functional areas (R&D, Marketing, QA, RA, Medical, Operations, and others) necessary to insure successful project completion and delivery.
- Manages risk assessment and mitigation process for assigned projects with all key stakeholders.
- Assists with the coordination of project clusters or programs as assigned by a direct supervisor.
- Definition/update of the technical specifications of the components

**Your profile**:

- 4 (four) years experience
- Master Degree or similar education level in biomedical engineering/mechanical engineering discipline
- Project management training or qualifications is desirable; proficiency in using of Project management tools and techniques to develop schedules, allocate resources, and track progress.
- Basic in technical drawing
- Minitab
- Very good command of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio, Word)
- Basic understanding of 3D CAD modelling principles and techniques, basic experience in CAD modelling, knowledge of 2D constructive mechanical drawing
- SAP (basic knowledge)
