Based in Verona, you will work closely with the IT teams at our headquarters in Germany to ensure seamless IT services for the branch as **IT Operations and Service Manager (M/F/d) full-fulltime** **Your responsibilities**: - Coordinate and align with the IT teams at the headquarter to esnure seamless operation and integration of IT services at the Verona branch - Provide 2nd-level support for the IT services under your responisbility, ensuring timely resolution of issues - Create and maintain detailed operational documentation for all managed IT services, ensuring accuracy and accessibility - Manage local service providers involved, ensuring that all agreements and service levels are met - Ensure all IT services comply withe the guidelines and regulations set by the central IT team, maintaining high standards for security and compliance - Gather and analyse IT requirements form the branch and channel them into the central demand management process - Guide and support collegues at the branch in the introduction and adoption of JIRA and ITSM processes - Collaborate closely with branch collegues on various IT projects, ensuring alignment with overall business and IT strategies - Procatively identify opportunities to improve IT service efficiency, performance and user satisfaction at the branch **Your profile**: - You have a degree in a computer science, information technogy or a related field - You bring several years of professional experience in IT service management, ideally within an insurance or banking environment - You are well-versed in ITSM frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and have strong project management skills - You have experience in managing suppliers and contracts, ensuring service levels and agreements are consistently met - You possess excellent communication skills and are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - You are analytical and solution-oriented, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues - You are proficient in both Italien and English, and knowlege of German is a plus - You are open to occasional travel to the headquarters in Gießen to maintain strong communication and alignment with the central IT teams - A procative approach and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively complete your profile **We offer**: - Flexible working hours with room for your personal and professional development - Clear hierarchies, short communication paths, a friendly team and excellent onboarding - A modern, well equipped work environment that enables remote work - A permanent contract based on the CCNL Ania with a salary level corresponding to professional experience, meal vouchers and corporate social benefits **Would you like to work at VH Italia Assicurazioni, the Italian branch of VEREINIGTE HAGEL?**: **Vereinigte Hagelversicherung VVaG** **Viale del Commercio 47** **37135 Verona** This job posting is open to all genders.
