Finance Manager

Position**:Finance Manager - YES-EU Italy** Location: Turin / Livorno **1. REPORTING STRUCTURE** Reports to: CEO of YES-EU Italy & functionally to the Group CFO Direct Supervisor of: Currently N/A but expected to build a small finance team **2. The Group is headquartered in Switzerland with offices in 14 countries in Europe, including YES-EU Italy based in Turin. **3. THE ROLE** As a member of the small, focused team, you will work closely with the CEO, the board and other executive members to plan, forecast, manage and report on the company ́s growth and operations. The country Finance Manager will report directly to the company's CEO but will also have a functional reporting line to the Group CFO. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall accounting and reporting, financial management including cash-flow forecasting, and regular communication with financial institutions in Italy, tax and all other financial matters of the company. This role demands a dynamic individual with a proven track record as finance professional. **4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** - **Strategic Leadership**: - The Finance manager will be a key partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors - Contribute to business development and strategy, and developing precise, value-creating reporting processes to the board. - Leverage functional skills in finance, accounting, operations and strategy to create the appropriate infrastructure, controls, policies, and processes that can support growth. - Assist the company's CEO and Group CFO in managing funding efforts - **Operational Excellence**: - Understand the complexity of the business, identify areas that need attention and take initiative to improve the financials operations, enhance financial planning and resource allocation. - Manage cash flow, investment, and capital structure to ensure financial stability, including investment of available cash and bank lines of credit for both operational and capital needs - Contribute to a better understanding of profitability in the organization, and work to ensure good financial management in the projects - Collaborate with other teams to align financial management with overall business strategy - Cooperate with the Group CFO to develop and improve automated financial processes and systems - Together with the Group CFO regular communication with financial institutions in Italy with the aim to secure the funding to meet the need of continuous business growth in Italy - **Financial Excellence**: - Have full overview of the company ́s finances and ensure to put in place necessary internal control routines and procedures - Oversee the company's financial well-being, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory compliance - Overall responsibility of budgeting, monthly financial report and rolling financial forecast and cash flow forecast, annual closing and audit in Italy, Italian GAAP and IFRS **4. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE** - Degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance or an MBA - Big 4 experience would be seen as an asset - Experience as a Finance Manager is required and experience within multinational companies is advantageous - Experience of leading a small team and working in the international environment - Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central ERP system is advantageous - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of an organization - High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation - Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses - Professional proficiency in English and Italian is required. - Italian national or working permit to work in Italy are required **5.
