From early warning, to threat neutralisation, our platforms cover all levels from very short-range systems, to extended protection across the entire battle-space including Airspace Mobility Solutions, Vehicles and Tactical Systems and Missile Defence, Optronics, and Radar.
Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
Thales Italia is looking for a proactive and motivated intern to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a PMO Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the PMO in collecting and organizing key information and data related to both bids and ongoing projects. You will work closely with project managers, bid managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting for various business activities.
**Main Tasks**:
- Assist the PMO in collecting relevant information and data from stakeholders for bids and ongoing projects.
- Ensure alignment of data entry between various business/delivery, scheduling, and reporting tools to support bids and project activities.
**Detailed Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Conduct weekly interviews with bid managers and project managers to collect key bid and project milestones (e.g., Gate 1, 2, 3, award, lost, FAT, SAT, training, shipment, delivery, etc.).
- Enter collected data into dedicated web tools and Excel files to track project progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in management systems, tracking databases, and reporting tools.
- Generate timely and accurate reports based on collected data, ensuring consistency with the demand plan and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Ensure that all fields in project and bid data are properly filled in and statuses are accurately reflected.
**Hard & Soft Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets. VBA macros programming is a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, especially under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple demands simultaneously.
- High degree of pro-activity, independence, and creativity in problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn.
**Experience & Education**:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems like OCM, SAP, or similar is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of project management tools and techniques is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Italian
