My client are looking for Head of Data to drive data utilisation into business value.

This is a good opportunity to join the growing business and establish both data solutions and organisation in their journey to convert their operational data into business value.

**Role**

The Head of Data Science will be responsible for developing and implementing the organization's data science vision and roadmap as well as staying abreast of challenges within the industry.

Will lead the Data team, determine responsibilities, priorities and areas of focus.

Proactively develop and guide the team in developing new analyses, modeling, experiments and data tools to better understand the performance of the company.

**Requirements**:

- Advanced degree in quantitative field (statistics, math, economics, physics, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience in roles related to data science, statistics, or machine learning along with 5+ years of experience as a data science manager
- Proven experience in building a high performing team (+10 people)
- Experience in driving data utilisation, insights and monetising
- Experience with commercial and emerging databases, technologies, and languages
- Detail oriented, analytical mind and business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively understand business problems and communicate analysis
