Technology Manager Europe
**Job Description**:
Lead in crafting and fulfilling products and services that meet the Electronic Chemical(EC) business needs. Provide effective internal and external technical service support.
Principal
**Responsibilities**:
- With European Business Team, develop product quality improvement roadmaps for products sold in the region based on industry trends and feedback from customers.
- Respond promptly to technical questions concerning Electronic Chemical(EC) products that come from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Champion the incorporation of novel materials, manufacturing equipment, and metrology at production facilities to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Support quality engineers in investigations of customer complaints and excursions.
- Provide technical mentorship to solve manufacturing problems at EC plants and sub-supplier plants.
- Develop ideas for new and improved products and guide the development and commercialization of these into new revenue streams.
- Provide technical training to employees on semiconductor devices and manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical mentorship in the EC business’s development of regional strategic business plans.
- Represent the EC business at industry conferences and meetings and communicate information learned at these meetings to internal stakeholders.
- Help the business to develop, and use optimally, a detailed knowledge of the markets, customers, competitors and their products, and alternative technologies
- Work with other Technology groups, hold regular reviews, share knowledge and standard process throughout the company
**Qualifications**:
Education
Minimum Bachelor degree in chemistry or related field
Preferred M.Sc or PhD
Experience
- 7 years in relevant chemical related Industry.
- 3 years in management role
- Preferable in Semiconductor Industry
