- Mision
This person will be one of the reference in terms of extrusion technology and converting within the Regional Engineering Group. He/She will design and execute extrusion projects ensuring partnership and alignment with Global Extrusion Platform Team and Supply Chain Hubs.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, team and execution plan.
- Design engineering including specification development, material and equipment specification.
- Fabrication and construction scope development and follow up.
- Deliver safe, operable, reliable system.
- Coordinate project milestones, Safety Design Review (SDR), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning activities
- Be accountable for project controls including estimating, scheduling, cost control, and reporting.
- Guide and ensure that each project will be designed and executed fully in alignment with highest safety and environmental standards.
- Have sustainability as a key driver in each execution.
- Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Chemistry.
- Solid experience in extrusion and converting complex lines design, for plastic industry.
- Knowledge of resins and rheology, a plus will be a past experience in foamed products, extrusion and converting.
- Multi-Project Management skills.
- Familiar with CE and ATEX EU Directives
- Knowledge of EHS best practices and energy conservation/optimization will be a plus.
- Ability to work in International teams and result oriented.
- Ability to select talented external resources to become project partners
- Good communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Highly self-motivated and self-starter.
- Curiosity to learn new processes and techniques.
- Fluency in English and availability to travel often within Europe and occasionally outside.
- MS office and AutoCAD 2D & 3D skills.
