Technical Customer Service Specialist

Manage the technical assistance to customers as well as all quality activities and processes within the plant, ensuring an optimal fit of Ahlstrom value proposition to customers technical needs
- Grant technical support to customers, in cooperation with Sales and Marketing functions
- Manage relations with customers’ product development and technical organizations
- Support claim management and improvement plans in the mills
- Collaborate with quality team
- Cooperate with Product Development, Sales, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure proper management of projects, processes and tools development and implementation, sharing of best practices and knowledge, portfolio and performance management
- Grant respect of HSE procedures and actively contribute to their continuous improvement
- Contribute to achieve safety/environment targets, as well as efficiency performances giving the right suggestions to the organization in order to have continuous improvement in place
N.B. All the operations must be done in respect of all the HSE directives, ensuring all the internal QHSE standard defined and pointing out to the organization every anomalies to HSE team or her/his own manager
Requisition
- M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, paper/têxtile technology or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in managing quality and/or technical customer service processes
- Strong problem solving and quality methodology skills
- Fluency in Italian and English; French knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to manage projects and collaborate in team
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Able to develop close networking relationships at all level of organization, in different languages and cultures
- Good organizational skills
- Availability for travelling
