As a **Buyer** **Commodity Leader**, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and executing long term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for NPI and OTR procurement
- Integrating commodity strategies into product leadership, engineering and manufacturing objectives.
- Defining and executing commodity strategy to support main service drivers as on time delivery and convertibility.
- Partnering and being point of reference for Manufacturing and Engineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity (e.g. make/buy; BCC; etc)
- Developing negotiation strategies and lead negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives of supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership
- Negotiating and issuing purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs
- Developing sourcing initiatives for cost out program, deflation, cycle reduction, BCC Sourcing and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms)
- Leveraging S&OP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals
- For NPI and Vendor List driving supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management with support of engineering, product leadership or other sourcing team in accordance with the business strategy

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with proven experience in procurement or commodity management
- English fluent, both in writing and speaking
- Excellent all-round communication and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity

- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
