Fundo is a digital venture in pre-launch phase, supported by Maritime Ventures, the venture builder promoted by CDP Venture Capital, together with key industrial and financial partners from Italy and Germany.
We’re assembling our founding team to build the next-generation platform for SME financing—making access to resources smarter, faster, and radically more intuitive. We believe the complexity of existing tools is a major barrier to SME growth. Fundo aims to solve this with a guided, tech-powered experience.
We’ve validated strong market interest (630+ leads, 210 responses, 43 interviews, 21 willing to pay) and we’re now looking for a Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder to build the MVP from scratch and play a leading role in shaping the technology and future team.
Tasks
Your Role
**As CTO & Co-Founder, you will**:
- Take full ownership of the technical vision and architecture
- Develop the MVP hands-on, building a robust foundation for future growth
- Act as a key contributor to the product roadmap in close collaboration with the CEO
- Set up scalable systems to support future team expansion and modular product development
- Integrate automation and intelligent features to simplify complex funding workflows
- Implement security, compliance, and data management best practices from day one
- Represent the company’s tech vision to partners, clients, and investors
**Requirements**:
What We’re Looking For
**Must-have**:
- 10+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership roles
- Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms
- Strong background in data analysis and agile software development
- Full-stack capabilities with ability to work autonomously on product delivery
- Strategic thinking combined with operational execution
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership as co-founder
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English
**Preferred**:
- Prior experience in fintech or enterprise software
- Familiarity with agentic AI or automation workflows
- Italian language skills
