MYTILINEOS is a leading global industrial and energy company with a strong presence in all five continents covering two business Sectors, the Energy Sector and the Metallurgy Sector, is currently seeking to hire an Technical Designer based in Italy.
The Technical Designer is part of the Engineering Dept. and in charge of the adaptation and modification in Italy of the electrical, civil and mechanical designs developed by the Engineering Headquarter and other subcontractors. He will also draw autonomously specific designs or portion of them in compliance to the project design criteria.
Main duties:
Understands, adapts and modify the technical drawings used in projects (civil, mechanical and electric).
Develops autonomously specific drawings (civil, mechanical and electric).
Reports verbally on a daily basis to the Engineering Manager regarding the documents revised.
Collaborates with the engineering team for the development of large PV systems.
Keeps up to date with changes to technical regulations
**Requirements**:
**_ Skills:_**
- Experience in drawing of electrical plots, civil structures and layouts, mechanical parts and assemblies
- Design of PV systems is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of the Italian Standards and symbols used in the electric, civil and mechanical design
- ability to work in team
- Work under pressure
**_Work Experience:_**
2 years experience as a electrical, civil and mechanical designer as specified above
**_ Educational Level:_**
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical field or equivalent
- Excellent use of English Language
- Good use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Advanced use of AutoCAD software
