Seller Support Specialist

YOOX has the ambition to open its assortment to 3rd party sellers, in order to reinforce its unique positioning as the world’s leading online lifestyle store for timeless fashion, design and art. In the coming months, YOOX will enable brands and retailers to sell their products directly to YOOX customers, in a marketplace model.

In order to successfully deliver its ambition, YOOX is recruiting a Seller Support Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Seller Acquisition, the Seller Support Specialist will manage the process of creating seller accounts in the Marketplace, plan and implement the product creation process in the platform, migrate product catalogue and implement technical service training for sellers.

Location: Remote until it’s safe to return to the office, then our office in Milan

Department Size: 13 resources (Approx.)

Reporting into: Head of Seller Acquisition

Direct reports: 0

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

- Onboard third-party sellers to Marketplace platform
- Assist seller integration via manual, portal or API processes
- Maintain Marketplace product hierarchy for seller mapping
- Own configuration of Marketplace platform and seller/product rules
- Assist seller acquisition managers and sellers with functional issues
- Be the interface between account managers, customer service and IT/CS teams regarding order incidents
- Monitor system performance data, pro-actively identify issues and manage resolution

The type of person we are looking for:

- 2-3 years of experience in servicing clients / business partners (e.g., Experience within a customer service environment)
- Excellent communication skills
- Efficient use of MS Excel, web browsers, keyboard shortcuts
- Knowledge (basic) about e-commerce
- Fluent in Italian and advanced in English
- 2-2 years of experience in data analysis
- Understanding of FTP (file transfer protocols), APIs, data hierarchy and mapping is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and service orientation
- Proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented, quick learner with a sense of responsibility for the results
- Freedom in communication and the ability to build effective cooperation
- Ability to coordinate several complex processes, with focus on details
