**Job Description**:
The Collaborative Transport Solutions Manager leads the strategy of Collaborative Transport Solutions (CTS) provision to customers in the Italian market, liasing with FMCG leading manufacturers, retailers, LSPs/3PLs and transport providers.

By relying on CHEP´s proprietary systems and data, and by collaborating with technical and commercial departments, the CTS Manager identifies and implements solutions to optimize transport costs, to improve service performance and reduce the environmental impact

The CTSM partners with the customer’s key senior level contacts to provide guidance on company initiatives and further streamline business to business processes, ultimately building a strategic partnership and developing multiple Value Streams for our SC partners and CHEP.

Some of the key accountabilities of this role are:

- EU Responsible for final design and rollout of our transport optimization solution implemented in italy to other Regions in Europe.
- Aligns success metrics with Customer’s internal business objectives around Sustainability, Efficiencies and Cost Reduction initiatives
- Manages monthly Scorecard generation to provide full and transparent visibility on Supply Chain Value Stream
- Gains complete knowledge of Customer’s Supply Chain, resulting in identifying and leading additional operational efficiency initiatives and cost reduction opportunities, with specific $ budgets to overall cost-savings agreed to by Customer.
- Collaborates with Customer and CHEP Sales-Strategic Account Manager to define Strategic Initiatives resulting in joint supply chain savings
- Becomes a Consultant for Customer on how to maximize the Value CHEP can deliver.
- Is responsible for final design and rollout of capacity solutions in Italy
- Is in charge of training the local sales team on Supply Chain knowledge

What we look for
- University graduate preferably in Business
- 3 -5 years’ experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain / Logistics management
- Proven experience in meeting & presenting to Customers on Top Level
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) at Senior corporate levels and comfortable presenting at senior manager level and large groups
- Strong knowledge of customer supply chain models, logistics and use of platforms in the supply chain
- Strong business acumen and excellent problem solving skills
- Six Sigma or Lean Certification a plus
