Head of Data Analytics

Datwyler IT Services is the IT wing of the Datwyler Group. **Job Summary**:
The Head of Data Analytics and New Technologies leads our organization’s efforts in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and spearheading the adoption of emerging technologies. This role will be pivotal in defining and implementing data strategies, building a robust data analytics competence center, and ensuring the business remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

The role reports to Datwyler's CIO and interacts with Executive leadership, Business Unit Leaders, IT partners and vendors, peer groups in ICT.

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Leadership**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics and technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and champion the adoption of emerging technologies that can drive innovation and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed data-driven decision-making across the organization.

**Data Analytics & Insights**:

- Setup a cross functional Data Analytics Competence Center, leveraging SMEs from all business areas.
- Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytics models, tools, and dashboards.
- Establish data governance frameworks, data harmonization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

**Technology Innovation**:

- Partner with IT, R&D and business teams to pilot, implement, and scale new technologies.
- Drive the integration of AI, machine learning, automation, and other advanced technologies into business operations.

**Team Leadership & Development**:

- Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team of business process experts, data analysts, data scientists, and technologists.
- Foster an agile culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.

**Team Leadership & Development**:

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the impact of data analytics and technology initiatives.
- Continuously assess and optimize data processes, systems, and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.

**KPIs**:

- Measurable improvements in process efficiencies or cost savings attributed to analytics and technology initiatives.
- Stakeholder satisfaction with analytics and technology solutions provided.
- Rate of adoption of new technologies across business units.
- Reduction in time-to-insight through streamlined data processes.
- Value generated from emerging technology initiatives (e.g., new revenue streams, market penetration).
