**Responsibilities**:
Peraton is currently seeking talented **Mid-level Financial Management Technicians** to become part of Peraton’s US Army Africa Mission Support program, which works to serve and protect US Army forces operating and training in Africa.

**Location**: This position will be located in Vicenza, Italy.

**What you’ll do**:
The Financial Management Technician provides financial accounting, disbursing and budgeting support for government funds. In this role, you will support the financial process for a Department of Defense agency serving and protecting US Army personnel operating in austere and challenging locations.

The Financial Management Technician will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

- Track and monitor budget execution.
- Provide support to DTS (Defense Travel System) and travel expenditure tracking.
- Utilize GFEBs (General Fund Enterprise Business System) to track and account for the status of obligations and expenditures.
- Review and monitor accounting data and expenditure reports for accuracy and takes action when discrepancies are identified.
- Prepare all budgetary documentation to include information and decision briefings.

Qualifications:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in U.S. Army accounting and financial experience.
- One year recent experience with GFEBS and DTS.
- Experience with financial modifications, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Must possess an active Secret Security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree in accounting, financial management, data analytics, information management.
- 8 years of experience in US Army accounting and financial management.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- U.S. Army 36B NCO (SGT - SFC), or
- US Army Junior Finance Officer (LT - CPT)
