At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business Unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

The Global Combat Aircraft Programme is aimed at developing a sixth-generation fighter main platform and relevant adjunct/unmanned platforms.

A large cooperation is being constituted to launch the pre-development and development activities. In this frame Avio Aero is working with national and international partners to build the power and propulsion system framework.

In this scenario, as GCAP International Partnership Development you will support the International Project Business Manager in continuously coordinating the activities with the international partners Rolls-Royce, IHI and with Bae Systems and MHI as needed. You will liaise with all the involved functions to ensure the respect of this programme requirements and adequate reporting to Italian MoD.

**Stellenbeschreibung**:
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Support the business project execution, including cross-functional coordination of engineering, commercial, legal, IT in coordination with Programme Management team and all required functions
- Be a focal point for IHI and Rolls Royce on the project, facilitating the relationship for the initiative duration, driving issue resolution, ensuring actions follow-up and participating in International Programme Management reviews
- Help the development of short, medium and long term Project plans
- Coordinate internally and with the international partners the agendas
- Monitor the agreed international Project KPIs to evaluate progresses
- Support the International Risk Management activities and related mitigation actions
- Assist the Development of the international Programme Management Plan and Operating Models that will form the basis of the future Delivery Construct, in coordination with internal functions
- Support the development of International Statement of Works in close coordination with internal functions
- Lead international activities that will foster an improved trilateral working environment and sustainability aspects
- Understand security requirements and related implications
- Plan and track the timely availability of required export licences with international partners
- Support the building of internal reporting to Senior Leadership team

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Aerospace industry knowledge and understanding of the Defence development activities environment
- Previous experience in project management, skilled in working and influencing a cross functional team in a matrix organization
- Planning and organizational skills; ability to quickly respond to and manage project changes and critical path activities to meet deadlines
- Good in developing a network and influence stakeholders
- Good risks management and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with international partners
- Understanding of project scheduling; ability to manage critical path activities to meet deadlines
- Basics of project business case
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support the Business (~25%)
- Fluent in English and Italian languages
- Work Visa and Italian citizenship, according to local regulation, are required
