We are now embarking on a new chapter of our journey that will further boost CMCC’s global position in climate change research Together **ROLE** **RESPONSIBILITIES** The Researcher will support the REMHI Division, with: - Integrate climate risk and adaptation strategies into the design of civil infrastructure - Support technical collaborations and expert consultations with institutions (e.g., JRC, EU bodies - Contribute to the drafting of technical documents, standards, and policy-relevant outputs. - Participate in EU and international projects focused on climate-resilient infrastructure. **REQUIREMENTS** - Proven experience or strong interest in climate adaptation, infrastructure risk assessment, or resilient design. - Knowledge of engineering design codes and climate adaptation frameworks (Eurocodes, guidelines, or similar). - Familiarity with simulation tools, and interest in coupling with climate data. - Proficiency in English; excellent writing and communication skills. - Accuracy and good analytical skills. - Proactive and collaborative mindset; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. - Team attitude and capacity to work in interdisciplinary contexts. **DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS** - Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally. - The Researcher will be based in Caserta CMCC office. - Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience - Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract. - Flexible working time as per internal policies. - Support during the immigration process, if needed. **PROTECTED CATEGORY** Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
