**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the VP Global Clinical Study Delivery (GCSD), As a pivotal Senior leader within Global Clinical Study Delivery (GCSD), the Senior Director, Global Study

Management Head is accountable for defining and driving the strategic vision for global study management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, priorities and cultural pillars. This role commands oversight of a global team of Senior Global Study Managers, and their line managers, ensuring the delivery of a diverse and complex portfolio with speed, quality, and financial discipline. The Senior Director partners with executive leadership across Global Clinical Operations and other critical functions to establish transformative ways of working, embed operational excellence, and drive innovation. With direct accountability for resource optimization, capability development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the role ensures the organization is positioned to meet current and future challenges while delivering impactful outcomes for patients and the business. Drive the Study Management team towards efficiency and innovation, enhancing automation and embedding innovative AI solution to work smarter.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be a contributing member of Global Clinical Study Delivery’s Leadership Team to include effective partnering and collaboration with fellow
- LT members as well as key stakeholders.
- Be accountable to set a strategy and vision for:

- Leadership and management of Senior Global Study Managers and Global Study Management Line Managers, driving effective line management practices across the group and locations.
- Engagement of Senior Global Study Managers and Global Study Management Line Managers in business improvement/process optimization efforts aligned to key acceleration and innovation targets.
- Continual Embedding and strengthening of the Study Team Operating Model (STOM) within the GSM team Senior GSM is leading the STOM Working Groups.
- Collaborating with Global Study Lead Heads to establish robust resource principles/methodologies for sGSM/GSMs
- Timely recruitment and capability building of new hire within the Global Study Management group to ensure adequate resources availabilities to deliver the Clinical Study activities.
- Building a culture of sharing, lessons learned, best practices, process improvement, etc., within the Study Management group.
- Effective change management culture
