Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is recruiting for a Communications and Engagement Specialist, to join our Projects, Process & Chemicals Team in Milan.

The person supports the
** local & regional communications** and
**engagement strategy** through the delivery of
**internal communications plans** and campaigns that engage, inform and inspire Wood employees. Working as part of a local & regional team, the role holder will manage the delivery of creative and timely communication campaigns and content that supports Wood’s strategy, business plans & culture through increasing employee engagement, understanding and awareness.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Works with the Employee Communications & Engagement Director and with regional and local operations to manage internal communications campaigns that support Wood’s strategy, business plans and culture
- Collaborates with team members in corporate communications & marketing to establish consistent messaging & approaches, ensuring culture and employee experience is publicized externally
- Delivers engaging campaigns and content that support the internal communications plans and business objectives
- Delivers impactful, new internal communications campaigns that cut through the noise and drive employee engagement
- Delivers on functional projects in support of culture and inclusion strategy
- Supports the successful planning and delivery of global internal communications plans and/or BU communications plans working in partnership with global and BU marcomms peers.
- Maintains and analyses local & regional internal communications channels
- Supports Wood’s culture and drives employee brand ambassadors through content development and messaging
- Identifies and develops compelling, relevant stories from around the business
- Supports senior leaders to be inspiring communicators and leads the delivery of timely and engaging employee engagement activities

Skills / Qualifications:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- University degree or equivalent in a communications or related field

**Knowledge of**:

- Communication methods and channels relevant to a large, complex organization

**Experience of**:

- Effective use of interpersonal & consulting skills

**Personal Attributes**:

- Enthusiasm, can do attitude and energy are must have qualities.
- Keen eye for attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and take responsibility for project delivery
- Good team player
