**Finance Country Controller - Italy/Iberia**

We have a great opportunity for a Finance Country Controller for Italy and Iberia. Ideally based near our Madrid or Milan office but would consider a more remote location in either of these countries for the right person.

**About the role**:
This is a fantastic position for a Finance expert to embed into the business to shape and drive the future with your forward thinking teamed with your finance insights and experience. In this role you will ensure the company follow the financial procedures in order to meet the Sales and EBITDA targets. You will also ensure the P&L and BS follows the US Gaap and local Gaap rules.

Responsibilities will include:
**BVA (Budget vs Actual)**
- Explain the variance versus budget for all P&L lines and understands risk to cover/not cover the amounts
- Control and approve the closing package provided by the finance analyst
- Prepare the valuable report to explain to the local leadership team, EMEA LT and Global LT.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly business review
**AOP process (Annual operating plan)**
- Work with the business to provide the plan for the year in terms of Sales, GP, Opex
- Work closely to FP&A department to submit the right level of information in the Financial System, coordinating the finance analyst on this topic
- Customer Service and Credit Collection
- Work closely to CS and CC to avoid any customers issue from order and credit collection perspective
**Business Cases**
- Provide support to the business to evaluate new business opportunities
- Provide support to the tender office to evaluate tender offer
- Work closely to FP&A department to submit the right level of information in the Financial System, coordinating the finance analyst on this topic

In order to be successful in this role, you will be a strong leader that will support and develop our high potential team whilst assuming the role of a true business partner within your countries. You will have a great balance of management and accounting skills/experience as a country controller teamed with a focused business mindset to drive change.

- Fluent in Italian or Spanish and English
- Significant capacity for coaching, leadership, coordination, and motivation of the team working under his/her responsibility
- P&L and Balance Sheet experience
- High customer orientation and results-oriented work
