We are looking for a maintenance technician in our distribution center of Cadorago

In this critical and very operational role, you will:

- Perform regular maintenance checks on manufacturing equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Locate and diagnose failures,replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Install functional and structural parts in devices or equipment.
- Prepare new machines and production equipment for operation.
- Follow a strict preventive maintenance schedule to lessen exposure to downtime-related repairs and maintenance, included but not limited:

- pneumatic systems (e.g., air compressors, valves) to prevent leaks and ensure consistent performance, hydraulic systems (e.g., pumps, cylinders) to prevent fluid leaks and maintain proper pressure levels, mechanical components (e.g., gears, bearings) by lubricating, adjusting, or replacing parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections and repairs, for compliance and reference.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and production floor.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Provide training on basic maintenance procedures to other staff members.
- Stay updated on advancements in manufacturing equipment technologies and maintenance practices.

**Qualifications**

- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, or equivalent experience
- You possess between 0-2 years of previous experience in maintenance, along with demonstrated expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs and maintenance. Preferably with slitting and winding production equipment.

In addition, you have:

- Certifications in specialty areas such as machinery operation and maintenance are required. Ability to acquire needed certifications or licenses within the specified period.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Proficient mathematical aptitude for measurements and calculations related to equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical/technical skills and aptitude to troubleshoot and repair machinery, including slitting and winding equipment, as well as expertise in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Logical problem-solving skills to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey maintenance procedures, issues, and updates.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a highly participative work system, able to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols and completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Motivated towards productivity improvements, safety enhancements, and maintaining quality standards within the production environment.
