**Global Water Management System Technology Manager**:

As ABB Ability Water Management System (WMS) Technology Manager you will be responsible for driving/leading technical and development aspects of WMS project and actively contribute to strategic and tactical decision-making ensuring that WMS solution can compete in the open markets and fulfill customers’ needs. In this role, you will in charge of aligning and coordinating development teams working in close collaboration with the WMS Product Manager and Industry Segment to achieve product goals and project milestone. You have a strong and proven experience in leading SW development activities for an effective design of a SW solution, translating market requirements into technical specifications (MRS to SRS System Requirements & PRS Product Requirements). You will report to the Global R&D and Execution Manager within the digital pillar of Sustainability and Process Performance Management.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for full product technological aspects: gathering requirements, estimating features development effort, writing specifications, and contributing to product roadmap.
- Expected to provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth technical analysis, demonstrating how that analysis impacts key product metrics and features.
- Drive execution from concept to live, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
- Coordinate external activities (strategic partners) with supporting organizations across the company.
- Keep the WMS core team informed on development results, schedule, and changes via regular status reports.
- Identify any project risks and work with partner teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with R&D Program Manager on Gate preparation and execution, including all process requirements executions.

**Your background**:

- Minimum 5 years previous experience in similar roles.
- Product management experience on software development projects.
- Understanding of software development methodologies: DevOps environment and agile a/o waterfall.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of further languages (Italian) will be a plus.
- Available for business travels to perform and coordinate activities and visit R&D teams.
- A high level of self-motivation and curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skill.
