**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
He/She will be involved in:

- Supporting the development and implementation of the Paralympic Communication Plan;
- Supporting all media relations activities related to the Paralympic Games;
- Supporting all media relations activities of Milano Cortina 2026;
- Supporting overseas Paralympic interview opportunities;
- Supporting the press office of Milano Cortina 2026.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Proven experience in media relations at local, national and international levels, preferably in sports, major events, or nonprofit organizations;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian, including the ability to draft press releases and official statements under tight deadlines;
- Thorough knowledge of the Paralympic Movement and Para sports, including classification systems, key stakeholders, and current issues;
- Demonstrated sensitivity to disability-related language and representation, ensuring inclusive and respectful communication across all platforms;
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, including live events, media scrums, and rapidly evolving news cycles;
- Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously;
- Capacity to work independently and proactively, while maintaining alignment with team goals and communication strategies;
- Experience in social media monitoring, with a clear understanding of media trends and audience engagement;
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

**Desirable**
- Background in journalism, communications or public relations;
- Knowledge of accessibility standards in media production, including captioning, sign language interpretation, and audio description;
- Familiarity with the communication guidelines and tone of voice of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC);
- Experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with media outlets, journalists, and content creators;
- Fluency in English and Italian is strongly preferred. Knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish or others is considered an asset.
