P/l Thermo-mechanical Manager

- Manage CAD specialist in performing 3D P/L layout and its accommodation
- Support the 3D modelling of the harness layout study (DC&RF, either cables and WGs)
- Plan and manage the configuration documentation issuing and revision
- Organize the Product Tree of the solution and validate its buind-up/management
- Perform or manage mechanical and thermal modelling and analyses of the solution
- Interact with the P/L specialists and support the HW specification issuing for own discipline
- Concur to the BOM preparation, management and part procurement
- Prepare the technical documentation of the performed tasks
- Document and report the solution’s technical and industrial choices
- Monitor internal/external manufacturing/assembling/testing activities and procurements
- Support/conduct technical meeting with Customers/Supplier
- Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree **Experience and skills**

The resource has the following skills:

- Experienced knowledge of CAD modelling (CATIA V5):

- Mechanical design - mandatory

Electrical routing design - mandatory
- knowledge of a PDM (ENOVIA preferred)
- Parts list creation and management
- Product Tree generation and management (including using of dedicated tools)
- Mechanical skills:

- Capability to write an item’s mechanical specification
- Thermal skills:

- Capability to write an item’s thermal specification
- Capability to prepare simple thermal model using built-in module and to run basic steady state analysis to preliminarily assess the validity of the designed solution
- Capability to identify item potential thermal design/performance criticalities from relevant documentation
- Capability to validate parts/assemblies from the thermal point of view.
- Electrical skills:

- Capability to read/understand the contents of a synoptic and of an electrical scheme
- Capability to drive the harnesses routing design (either DC and RF)
- Capability to read/comment/validate WGs routing design and parts drawings
- Testing skills:

- Capability to prepare a suitable test plan and requirements
- Capability to comment unit/assy levels test plan/requirements/test set-up and to interpret and validate the experimental results
- Basic knowledge of the space related test facilities scopes and functionality (Ther./Mech.)
- Technical Management:

- Experience in the relationship with Customer/Supplier and preparing/managing meetings
- Capability to manage even heterogeneous technical team
- Capability to prepare plan/schedule and reporting sheet for the resources management
- Capability to prepare mechanical model using built-in module and to run basic static/modal analysis to preliminarily assess the validity of the designed solution
- Capability to identify mechanical item potential design/performance criticalities from relevant documentation
- Capability to validate mechanical parts/assemblies.
