Within the CISO team, IT Security Specialist supports and acts as part of the IT security team in order to ensure the banks appropriate level of security information systems by implementing, deploying and monitoring the IT security policies and procedures while being a trusted advisor for the business in business running activities and change projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Follow the monitoring plans for IT security, IT processes, IT procedures: prepare and deliver regularly required reporting (e.g. Monitoring of security events; Management of security incidents; Monitoring of the technical compliance; control users access; monitor i-Risk issues from IT&OPS)
- Support the proper implementation and follow-up of IT security policies and procedures;
- In conjunction with IRM, supports the definition of Information Risk and IT security policies, local IT security standards in compliance with ING Group policies and regulations in force;
- Execute control plans, the processes, procedures and associated reports in order to accomplish in a rigorous, precise and consistent security monitoring of information systems;
- Performs regular controls in order to verify the compliance practices, procedures and processes related to information systems in order to adhere to the group's standards & policies.
- He/She can take part of the relationship with ORM and IRM, internal audit departments and/or other ING Group entities in the field of information risk and IT security, including all IT related department and OPS. Main activities are related to:

- Ensuring strict and regular monitoring of IRISK action plan of the IT&OPS department; also being involved in Ethical hacks, self-assessment, as per ING Group Policy; this included also third-party involvement.
- Write IT security incident reports and validate operational incidents reports;
- Support in performing forensic investigations on customers and employees of ING.

**Education and background**:

- University degree in IT Engineering or similar
- 3+ years’ experience within IT Security management within Financial environment
- Experience gained in a complex and international environment
- Nice to have: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)/ CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or similar security related certification
- Fluent in English
- MS office
