In addition, the hotel has two versatile function rooms.

**About the job**

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Concierge Department in Milan, the Concierge intern is responsible for assisting and supporting guests. The Concierge intern reports to the Head Concierge.

**As **Concierge intern, you will responsible for the following duties**:

- Providing exceptional service to our guests
- Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all guests
- Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights
- Maintain a consistent and sufficient level of brochures, maps and handouts
- Maintain a daily sheet (via software) of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests
- Be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests
- Be aware of all daily events in the hotel
- Arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events and local attractions
- Provide a daily list to the Front Office Manager or Manager On Duty of transportation reservations
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized desk
- Act as a guide when guests ask for direction and physically assist them to their destination within the hotel
- Other activities as deemed appropriate by the Chief Concierge

**As **Concierge intern, we expect from you**:

- Must speak fluent Italian and English, additional languages are a plus
- Positive attitude at all times
- Flexible with shifts and tasks, must display an exceptional attention to details
- Must be organized, precise and maintain a high level of confidentiality
