EHS Manager

Join our team as an **EHS Manager** and lead safety, health, and environmental excellence in a dynamic and impactful role

As EHS Manager, you will be responsible for leading EHS at Milano Plant, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to PPG EHS standards. Oversees the implementation of the EHS Management System, aligns with local regulations, and develops investment strategies for EHS infrastructure.

The role requires some of level flexibility to travel to different locations within the country

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure EHS compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Develop and implement EHS strategies in collaboration with the local Leadership Team.
- Participate in the Leadership Team to integrate safety into decision-making processes.
- Manage the EHS budget and plan investments for safety infrastructure.
- Monitor and improve the EHS management system, assessing risks and corrective actions.
- Supervise EHS resources and collaborate with process safety managers.
- Conduct audits and independent reviews to enhance policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and propose corrective actions.
- Train and raise awareness among employees on safety and regulatory compliance.

**What will you bring**
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or related science, with relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills in complex situations.
- Experience in managing budgets and EHS-related investments.
- Ability to work independently in planning and executing activities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with leadership and employees.
