**Overall Objective**
Drive Active Beauty business in Italy. Building customer relationships, delivering on the customer sales targets, and establishing Active Beauty as the best partner in the industry.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Grow Active Beauty business in Italy, managing both sales and profitability.
- Develop reliable and trustworthy client relationships at high levels with a portfolio of accounts to make Givaudan the partner of choice.
- Gain understanding of brand strategies and business needs of key clients, deliver targeted solutions to result in sales growth and manage any customer issues/complaints to ensure a smooth resolution.
- Act as account manager focal point for customer, facilitating flow of information to sales, marketing, operations, and technical groups.
- Negotiate pricing agreements within agreed pricing guidelines.
- Develop, communicate, and implement strategic account plans for key accounts including sales forecasts and budget for key accounts, against agreed KPIs; manage opportunity pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans. Provide regular reviews and delivers status reports on project progress and commercialisation of projects.
- Work closely with other teams in marketing, sales and research to share opportunities and answer the customer needs in an effective an efficient way.
- Develop and deliver customer presentations.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity in target markets.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Brief regional head of sales who will provide cover in times of annual leave and sickness absence.

**Knowledge, Experience and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree; a scientific background in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology pre-ferred, a MBA a is a plus.
- At least 2-5 years relevant experience in Account Management including experience in the Cosmetic Ingredients industry.
- Technical understanding and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling stories.
- Negotiation skills and business acumen.

- Fluency in Italian and English.
