Club Ambrosiano, home of the famous Torneo Avvenire, is one of the best clubs in Milan dedicated to sport, well-being and family entertainment. Thanks to our tennis heritage and a long history of excellence in athlete training, we provide members young and old with a variety of programs to stay active, healthy and inspired.

Close to the Udine metro stop and with parking facilities, the over 30,000 sq m Club Ambrosiano offers some of the best sporting facilities in east Milan. Our experts are on hand to help you get the most out of our tennis and padel services, fitness areas, group classes, games and events for the whole family. Hospitality is a fundamental pillar in the image of the Club and in the orientation of members and customers.

OVERALL MISSION

As the Wellbeing & Sports Manager you are responsible for ensuring our Wellbeing & Sports offering is implemented and delivered in line with Aspria's mission. You will contribute positively to the Club's member experience and financial performance.

You will implement and deliver our sports and wellbeing strategies in the Club. You will aim to deliver a world class service that exceeds the expectations of members of all ages and inspire them to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. As a member of the Club's management team you will collaborate closely with other Heads of Department and the General Manager to implement central strategy at a club level.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

**Services**
- Deliver world class Sports & Wellbeing services, including environment, programmes and services across our gym areas, group exercise, swimming pool, tennis courts and junior sporting activity programmes.
- Ensure the sports, tennis and pool programmes cater for all member profiles. Deliver pathways of progression, development and excellence to drive member engagement.
- Ensure adult programming synchronises with junior programme for the benefit of family members while catering for full spectrum of member profiles
- Deliver our Aspria Pro philosophy including assessments, referrals and programme prescription to drive member engagement across our full product and service offering (certain clubs only)
- Ensure safe, effective and productive programming for all ages, levels and types of members within the sports areas

**Team**
- Recruit, coach and develop the team to deliver best possible service and maximise member sentiment
- Through leading by example and a hands-on approach, ensure staff are engaged with members at all times
- Create a trust-based team environment in which team members are encouraged to take initiatives and achieve goals
- Set challenging and inspiring objectives for each team member and through regular 1-to-1 meetings and constructive performance reviews maximise individual and team performance.
- Effectively manage freelance professionals to enable delivery of world class service offerings to commercial targets
- Ensure appropriate resource management, through effective monthly, weekly and daily planning of the team, giving relevant attention to peak periods
- Ensure personal and team compliance to company guidelines

**Environment**
- Ensure all Sports areas are kept clean, tidy and well maintained at all times
- Conduct regular audits of Sports & Wellbeing areas and create, deliver and implement a plan of continuous improvement to deliver a world class environment
- Ensure optimum functionality and upkeep of fitness equipment including liaising with third parties and in-house maintenance teams

**Commercial Management**
- Alongside the General Manager and Group Head of Operations drive the commercial success. This includes monitoring local market and competitor businesses.
- Assist with the creation of member events involving sports and wellbeing
- Deliver budgeted revenues, gross margins, overheads and payroll costs within the areas of sports and wellbeing, studio departments and ensure budgeted profitability is achieved.
- Analyse key information and reports to drive member usage, utilisation and feedback and thereby optimise member engagement and enjoyment of the club's sports and wellbeing offering.

**General Management**
- Play an active role within the club's leadership team and provide input on cross-department initiatives (tennis, paddle, classes, kids activities).
- Support the General Manager to the day-to-day management of the club
- Be a TCA ambassador, portraying TCA fundamental behaviours at all times and encouraging others to do likewise
- Management of at least collective 70 classes/week;
- Collaboration with Vavassori technical responsibles.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Department EBITDA vs budget
- New member induction/Aspria Pro occupancy
- Personal Training revenue and profit per member
- Profit and occupancy rate of sports courses, tennis and junior programmes
- Attendance and cost per attendee of group exercise programme

- Degree or Master qualification in Fitness and Sports
