IT Facility Coordinator

The Global Information Technology (IT) Department of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is actively working on rationalising and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group. This ongoing initiative bears many aspects and lead to many projects mobilising the overall workforce of the company.

**IT Facility Coordinator**:
Within the Local IT infrastructure team and under the governance of the Local MD, the Local IT and Facility Manager missions are:

- Local VIP support
- Managing and organize the Local Facilities team
- Managing the Local IT requests/incident and the Local IT team
- Administration, implementation and support for local facilities and infrastructure (VCC, Gates, Security, Hub, printers, telephonies, PCs, hardware, meeting rooms, vending machines )
- Interface with vendors & suppliers (mobile companies, hardware suppliers,)
- Coordinating Hardware maintenance and replacement
- Share personal experiences of support and technical expertise through communication, training or knowledge base articles
- Provide support for any other request needed for the Turin agency
- Following MSC standards and directives

Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Local IT team
- Redirect problems to the appropriate resources
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Support physical hardware on windows 10 or above
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and escalate when needed
- Understands priorities
- Following tickets
- Check performance of the team
- Update and maintenance of local documentations and archives

Qualifications and experiences

**General**: 5 years in management of Local facility and interface with VIP and suppliers

**Technical**:

- PCs and peripherals
- Windows 11
- End user support
- Mobile Phones
- Office 365
- Troubleshooting, optimization
- Is dynamic, mature, team-spirited
- Has 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Positive attitude
- High trustworthy personality
- Has excellent relational and communications skills
- Embraces the strategy defined by the management and makes it his own
- Has experience with asset management following ITIL standards
