General Services Manager

Safilo is looking for a General services manager who will be based in Padova Headquarters.
Key responsibilities:
- Defines scheduled buildings and plant maintenance plans;
- Oversees all installation, repair and upkeep operations of company’s facilities in order to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and legal requirements;
- Manages all facilities services suppliers both internal Safilo and external third party and ensure all suppliers are compliant with the Procurement Policy;
- Tracks a request for supplies or services, from inception to delivery;
- Properly manages budgeting, accounting, work planning and reporting, by informing the Facility Manager of all deviations from estimated budget;
- Handles all service requests and complaints and assists to the annual budget preparation and management, reporting and being familiar with the terms of lease and facilities;
- Directly manages all facility services staff;
- Properly manages Energy efficiency;
- Proposes to the Facility Manager technical and organizational changes, in order to improve plants, machinery and equipment efficiency.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration or other scientific, technical or administrative fields;
- 5/7 years of experience of successfully managing the full range of facilities services;
- Prior exposure to working within a corporate office environment;
- Previous budget experience;
- Ability to manage time and responsibilities effectively without direct on-site supervision;
- Knowledge of CAD software;
- Good interpersonal skills developed in negotiating and influencing at all levels both internally and externally.
