**About the job**: Grand Circle Corporation is looking for Tour Leaders, as we call Trip Experience Leaders, to lead **Small Ship tours and Italy Land extensions** for Grand Circle Travel and Overseas Adventure Travel in 2025. We are looking for team players who are willing to go outside of their comfort zone to provide travelers with unforgettable experiences

IMPORANT NOTES:

- PATENTINO ACCOMPAGANTORE: We hire tours leaders that are licensed with the patentino accompagnatore, it is legally required to lead tours in Italy and for the company.
- This is a freelance/ ‘libero professionista’ position.

English and Italian fluency **is required.**

**What we require**
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and confident to present topics in front of groups
- FLUENT Italian language required and at **least 5 years living in the country if you are not Italian **Enthusiast about local history, culture, and wildlife
- In-depth knowledge of the history of your country and region
- Willing and able to offer the travelers an authentic cultural experience
- Sincere liking of the American people and of their culture
- Creative and resourceful team player with leadership skills
- Enthusiasm and Passion for sharing own life experiences, and openness to discuss the more delicate aspects of society and its customs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, including in emergency situations
- Willingness to be available to our travelers on 24/7 basis, for the entire duration of the tour
- “Patentino di Accompagnatore turistico” or IATM membership certificate is required to lead tours
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience escorting groups is preferred
- Work experiences abroad will be a plus

**Working responsibilities**
- Escorting and Leading groups through the Northern Region by coach
- Compiling and delivering information on the cities and towns visited on tour
- Describing points of interest during coach commentaries, providing info-talks on daily life and local issues
- Selling of the Company excursion products on tour, taking payments and following payment protocols
- Offering and Creating Learning and Discovery activities throughout the tour
- Be willing to go off the beaten track, adapt, and show our travelers all aspects of daily life in the region
- Confirming arrangements for the necessary transportation and activities and working with local guides/ vendors
- Arrange for medical personnel for guests in case of emergency, and helping them with all further issues

**Recruiting Process**

First step: ZOOM interview

Second step: Group interview **JANUARY 14TH**

Third step: Training 3 full days following the Group interview **JANUARY 15, 16, 17TH**
