Summary:
This role has been established to enable Allegion to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace by allowing the company to increase contribution margin, reduce lead time, improve quality and maximize customer satisfaction. This will be achieved through the implementation of World Class Warehouse and Distribution processes, which are aligned to business goals and objectives.

The Warehouse Manager role will require involvement with all disciplines across the multiple Allegion sites and branches in order to develop and execute the best practices and projects that will deliver targeted savings.

Duties and responsibilities

Establish, implement and maintain a Warehouse and Distribution Strategy which delivers optimum performance and sustainable improvement. Key to this will be the:

- Development of a competent Warehouse and Distribution organization at site levels in coordination with our ISC structure.
- Continual improvement of key performance metrics.
- Implementation of robust process controls.
- Conduct physical counts and reconciling with inventory.
- Implement Warehouse and transportation systems, both inbound and outbound
- Ensure the warehouse’s operation runs in an effective and efficient way in order to satisfy customers requirements
- Lead, select, develop and motivate warehouse key personnel in order to create commitment and job satisfaction
- Liaise with transportation companies, suppliers, customers, custom agents
- Manage and control expenses in line with the budget
- Ensure delivery and quality objectives are met
- Create secure environment, in line with corporate rules and safety legislation
- Define warehouse organization to balance workload and address priorities
- Promote continuous improvement mindset to increase efficiency level
- Design optimal material storage, flow and packaging to maximize productivity
- Interact with commercial organization and planning to maintain high service level to the customers

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business/management or engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in leading logistic department in manufacturing environment preferably in complex supply chain organizations.
- Solid experience in managing teams of people and workforce organization.
- Experience in operations, inventory management and lean manufacturing processes.
- Experience with warehouse management system.
- English Fluent with conversation and writing.
- Good knowledge of microsoft office package
- Preferred experience in a world-class lean operation with multinational company.

- In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement and distribution) and a superior understanding of supply chain flow in a plant.
