According to our strategic plan and to be consistent with our Digital Transformation journey, it has been decided to strengthen the Information Systems management at global level, and for this we are looking for
Gualapack - Information Systems Business Intelligence specialist:
You will work closely with the Business key users to understand and gather their requirements for Business Intelligence and convert them into functional specifications; in collaboration with the external partners, you will be responsible to provide the Business with the necessary support to implement the required outputs.
You will work, in collaboration with the internal Corporate IS team and the external partners, to support both management and users to troubleshoot issues related to Business Intelligence.
Main responsibilities
Work closely with the Business to interpret Business requirements for creating and/or enhancing Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence (Reporting & Analytics) and support them in designing suitable outputs
Creating functional specifications, define the solution and coordinate with the external partners to implement it
Proficient to analyse and understand existing data models and work with external partners to create new data models as needed
Design, enhance and/or develop data views utilizing BI toolsets
Provide Business Intelligence support, to both management and users, in reporting and analytics issue resolution
Keep track of incidents related to Business Intelligence, perform high level analysis and take ownership of issue investigation
Support the Business for any knowledge gaps in BI tools as required.
Train users on reports and data analysis
Understand how the business processes operate to better solve problems and define solutions
Participate in international BI Projects and in any testing as required by BI development
Participate in SAP roll out activities as required with special focus on BI related topics
Manage relationship with external vendor
Required skills and education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems, engineering or related field
At least three years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Intelligence tools (mainly SAP BW and AFO) and MS reporting tools (Power BI)
Good knowledge of English as second language
**Key competences**:
Very good SAP BI tools knowledge and MS Power BI reporting platform
Excellent knowledge of data sources, like SAP datamodels and SAP HANA views, Bex or BW queries, local data sources
Extensive experience in querying data sources, creating reports and documents, performing analysis
Experience with Data Warehouse development and SAP BW tools
Knowledge of ETL, Process Chains, modeling the backend
Knowledge of business model and business processes in the manufacturing industry
Ability to work under stress, meeting assigned deadlines
Planning and Organization
Ability to work independently but as part of an international team
Open to change and resilient
Knowledge of internal customer dynamics
Negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive approach & willingness to learn and gain SAP knowledge
Willingness to travel
Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with different teams
