WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- PPT Italy Spa, Lanciano Plant, is looking for a new commodity/project buyer who will be responsible for all operational purchasing activities within the given commodity/ project. Major Duties: - Management of various projects for all purchasing related issues. - Prepare / review quoted bills of material (Q-BOMs) and monitor related changes, escalate deviations in time. - Responsible for Costs and Timing of the related purchased components in order to achieve all commercial and timing objectives within assigned project. - Provide best service to purchasing team by detailed knowledge of his/her program combined with close team collaboration. - Source all parts in the assigned commodity group within the agreed quality, timing and cost targets. - Review purchase requests, prepare requests for quotations based on selected bidders list to receive competitive quotes on commodities assigned. - Analyse quotations to determine best suppliers, prepare sourcing, negotiate terms and conditions in compliance with overall

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- A team player who demonstrates determination, energy and enthusiasm following an open, flexible and solution driven approach. - Ideally educated to a technical diploma; at least 3-5 years in Automotive (preferably) purchasing manufacturing experience. Knowledge of technical drawings reading. - At least 3-5 years of experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation and related correspondence. - Competence in business tools: PC (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database (SAP).Fluent in English is a must, second language is an advantage.
