Gears & Bearings Mechanical Designer

You will also support the technology maturation of those components, activating and executing advanced technology demos through a range of subscale and full scale rigs and setting the way for new products definition and execution.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Execute technical feasibility studies and concept design of mechanical transmission components for next engine opportunities
- Execute detailed design of gearbox components for test vehicles and technology maturation needs
- Conduct design optimization to meet customer requirements and/or test intent
- Assess technology insertion and contribute to execute gears and bearings tech mat plan
- Support preliminary design activities such as system/product definition and Engine level architectures trade offs for next gen architectures studies
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated across the technology demonstration phases consistency with engineering policies and procedures
- Support technical and program reviews
- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to the extended team
- Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
- Share engineering information and promote open dialogue

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
- Good knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations
- Have strong engineering outlook, hands-on engineering foundation and eager to learn
- Clear thinking and diligent approach
- English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
