**Job Description Summary**:
ADI ’ s Digital Healthcare BU is seeking a student skilled in Analog Design Engineer to join our team as internship to developing state of the art Low Iq solutions for Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) to be used in next generation Vital Signs monitoring ASIC developments.

The position is based on the Catania Design Centre, Italy.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Circuit design from the transistor level, up to the system level simulation of integrated circuits for signal chain, supervisory, power management.
- Complete simple to moderately complex projects with supervision.
- Layout supervision of integrated circuits to ensure product functionality.
- Characterization and evaluation of the integrated circuits, and cooperation with test engineering for product release to production.
- Ensuring the products have acceptable manufacturing yields.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Working on thesis for MSEE.
- Good academic knowledge of building blocks: bandgap references, op-amps, OTAs, bias circuits, comparators, oscillators, DACs, level-shifters, switching power stages, LDOs, charge pumps
- Good to have: knowledge of CAD tools (Cadence Virtuoso) and analog/mixed signals simulators.
- Good to have: knowledge of DC-DC converters topologies and linear regulators experience is a plus.
- Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design and simulation.
- Understand placement and layout issues with respect to mixed-signal IC’s.
- Ability to problem solve at the transistor and system level.
- Self-motivated and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Good English communication skill
