**Profile**
- The Role:
We are looking for a Public Affairs Consultant with in-depth knowledge of the Italian energy market and its underpinning regulation. The Public Affairs Consultant will monitor Stakeholder proceedings, publications and communications regarding any Legal Changes and provide analysis of any draft regulations and legislation or other developments related to the Legal Changes. You will identify risks and opportunities that arise from new regulations and legislation. You will represent Sonnedix at select Stakeholder hearings, party conferences and other events; and assist with research and draft information literature and other written submissions, such as consultation responses.
The Public Affairs Consultant will establish and maintain two-way communication with relevant Stakeholders such as Government officials and Regulatory bodies and the Group regarding any Legal Changes; maintain regulatory contact, in person and in writing, with Stakeholders to convey Sonnedix positioning on any Legal Changes. To the extent permissible, you will respond on behalf of the Group to inquiries and testify at public hearings regarding any changes; and participate in any meetings with the trade associations Elettricità Futura and Italia Solare.
Desirable skills:

- Significant experience in the Italian energy industry covering market functions, regulation and policy design
- Understanding of Italian electricity regulatory regimes, with a predominant focus on renewables
- Proven engagement experience and strong industry/government networks
- Good relationship builder with excellent communication skills
