Product Owner

Our team is looking for a passionate professional to join our Product team as Product Owner.

This position is full-time remote. However, to attend meetings with some of our key clients when needed, mainly in EMEA.

You will join a team entrusted by enterprise clients in numerous industries to help identify and deliver solutions for their critical business challenges. A team that is committed to solving some of the biggest software challenges, tackling some of the most advanced concepts, and who are willing to learn, love and enjoy the experience along the way.

**Role Overview**

Entando Product Owner serves as the voice of the customer or internal business stakeholders to guide development teams in building software capabilities for Entando ACP with the highest business and customer impact. He/She transforms business needs into clear development plans, prioritizes and manages the product backlog, and incorporates feedback from business stakeholders to guide continuous product improvement. He/She contributes to the product roadmap and to the early product prototyping.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritization of the product backlog.
- Understand business and end-user needs; identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories.
- Participate in sprint planning to determine the team's objectives for the upcoming sprint.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements, and team retrospectives; ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps.
- Lead the sprint review meeting to present the output from the sprint to key stakeholders.
- Analyze feedback from sprint reviews, and other data such as end user feedback and operational metrics, to identify and understand product needs.
- Work with the development team to create acceptance criteria and definitions of failures
- Assist the team on the development of feature tests, test cases, and regression tests.
- Set expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
- Ensure the right balance of quality of the delivered features and time-to-market
- Act as a product owner in 1 or more squads
- Lead and coach a team of Product Owners
- Contributes to the product roadmap and to the early product prototyping and coordinated designers

**Skills and Competencies**
- Ability to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs.
- Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Creative thinker willing to challenge status quo with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions, while deeply understanding and respecting what works today
- Strong problem-solving and influencing skills and the ability to conceptualize winning strategies, formulate strategic initiatives, and execute under tight timelines
- English language proficiency
- Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) preferred.
- Willingness to travel to Client site to gather needs from time to time and periodical Product Team meetings and company meetings(~8%)
- Strong Technical background on FrontEnd and/or Backend architectures and Agile technologies

**Technical Skills **required are**:

- Experienced with Scrum and Agile practices
- Knowledge of Design patterns
- Ability to identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities in existing systems
- Understanding of Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Microservice and Micro fronted Architectures Style
- Working on backend and frontend technologies
- Familiar with Cloud environments and major Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiar with the Open Source lifecycle
- Ideal background in user research
- Can demonstrate to have successfully delivered many products

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience).
- 7+ years of relevant work experience with experience in a product owner role preferred.
- Product owner certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification) a plus.
